Sologne is an heaven for fishermen and hunters, lovers nature and the good life..Sologne was the stronghold of major French Kings. The castles they built are among the major attraction of this touristic region.
We will cannot leave this description of the region without mentioning the river which gathers all those castles and border Sologne. The Loire Valley which is over 250kmlong, and since November 30, 2000 is listed on the UN World heritage List. Such listing helps preserving the environment, the flora and fauna of this exceptional river and helps preserve its landscape in its entirety and beyond its most famous monuments.
